Junior is impatient

I had a scheduled OB appointment yesterday. My blood pressure was way up again... the bottom number jumped back into the 90's and even went over 100 for a tiny bit. They put me on the baby monitor to check on Junior and make sure he was okay and to my surprise, I was having regular contraction that were about a minute long and occuring every 6-7 minutes. I thought that was the baby moving.

The doc increased my blood pressure meds and gave me some meds to stop the contractions and I have to go back on Friday morning to get checked again or to the hospital sooner if the contractions come back despite the meds or if my water breaks which it thankfully has not.

This is the second time the little guy has try to get out way early. I'm only at 33 weeks... the doc says that she would really appreciate it if he would at least wait until 36 weeks. I think Junior objects and wants out now but I'm doing all I can to keep him in there.

I'm on bed rest so I'm home. I'm listening to the doctor and staying home with my feet up and taking my meds instead of trying to go to work cause I'm scared that if I go to work and my blood pressure goes too high it will start the labor again which will land me in the hospital to the baby comes and while in hospital they will keep me on IV meds for 3 weeks to make sure he makes it to 36 weeks and I don't want to be in the hospital for 3 weeks so for once I'm listening to doctor's orders. How unlike me. :)

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm okay other than the planned escape by Junior and a chest cold that likes to make me cough a little but that's finally going away now.
